Fantasy has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, and no single influence has shaped my artistic vision more than Magic: The Gathering. Since childhood, it has fueled my imagination, defined my understanding of fantasy, and inspired me to pursue illustration as a career. Its artwork showed me that a single image can tell a compelling story, capture an entire world, and leave a lasting impression. And all that on a tiny, tiny frame.

Today, my work is driven by that same ambition.

I create dynamic dark fantasy illustrations filled with movement, atmosphere, and dramatic storytelling. My paintings are characterized by vibrant color, strong contrast, and energetic compositions that place the viewer in the middle of the action. Whether depicting fierce battles, desperate conflicts, or towering creatures that dwarf the people around them, I strive to create images that feel cinematic, immersive, and alive.

Creature design is at the heart of my work. Dragons are my favorite subject, but I enjoy exploring all kinds of fantastical beings—from eldrich-like beeings straight out of Lovecrafts mind to powerful beasts that feel as though they have existed long before the viewer entered the scene. Scale is another recurring element in my illustrations. I love emphasizing the overwhelming size and presence of creatures by contrasting them with human figures, creating a sense of awe, danger, and wonder.

For me, illustration is more than depicting a single moment—it’s about suggesting an entire story. I want every piece to raise questions, spark curiosity, and invite the viewer to imagine what happened before the scene and what comes next.

My goal is to create memorable illustrations for trading card games, books, and other fantasy projects that inspire players and readers in the same way the artwork that shaped my childhood inspired me. I continuously challenge myself to refine my technical skills, strengthen my visual storytelling, and create artwork that serves both the world it belongs to and the audience experiencing it.
